There was lots of optimism during a warm-up session at Lambeau Field for Buccaneers stud rookie safety, Antoine Winfield Jr. It does appear that the warm-ups didn’t give the Buccaneers coaching staff enough confidence in preventing further injury which led to the decision to not play Winfield Jr. today.
#GoBucs S Antoine Winfield, Jr. is out for today's NFC Championship game with an ankle injury.

After dealing with an ankle injury all week and not practicing on Friday, the chance of seeing Winfield Jr. on the field seemed slim to none. Earlier today it was reported that he’d be a game time decision for the Buccaneers. If Tampa Bay does advance, Winfield Jr. may have another shot in the 2020 playoffs.

As for the rest of the Buccaneers who will not play today, wide receiver Antonio Brown will be inactive with an injury. Defensive lineman Jeremiah Ledbetter lands on the list along with rookie running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn. Rookie defensive lineman Khalil Davis will also be inactive which points to Vita Vea possibly playing more than we may have expected.
The Green Bay Packers have six healthy scratches for today. They will indeed have both of their best corners on the field versus the Buccaneers today. You can see the full list below.
10 QB Jordan Love
29 CB Ka’dar Hollman
36 S Vernon Scott
37 CB Josh Jackson
53 LB Jonathan Garvin
87 TE Jace Sternberger
96 DL Kingsley Keke
