It finally here. After two weeks of preparation, hype and build up the Super Bowl kicks off tonight in Tampa. And when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take the field tonight safety Jordan Whitehead will be among them according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
#Bucs S Jordan Whitehead is going to play through a fully torn labrum in Super Bowl LV, source said, an injury that includes additional shoulder damage. Whitehead was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but practiced fully on Friday. He’ll play in pain.

Whitehead injured his shoulder in the game against the Green Bay Packers. Delivering the jarring hit on running back Aaron Jones that caused a fumble and turned the entire momentum of the game. Having the third year pro available on the back end will be a huge boost for the Buccaneers as they look to capture their second Super Bowl victory in franchise history. In the biggest game of the season these players are going to lay it all on the line and Whitehead will be out there with them. It’s Super Bowl Sunday, Let’s Go!
