Tom Brady reached agreement with the Buccaneers today on a four-year contract extension that voids to a one-year extension that locks him into Tampa through the 2022 season, sources tell ESPN.

The Buccaneers have already locked in wide receiver Chris Godwin and Lavonte David. This move will free up a significant amount of cap room for a team looking to repeat as world champions.

Per Adam Schefter, the deal will free up roughly $19 million in cap room for the Bucs.
