Talk about a good start to the weekend.
Per ESPN’s Josina Anderson, the Buccaneers are set to re-sign Leonard Fournette. The sixth-year running back told her so Friday over Facetime.

It’s a one-year, $3.25 million deal worth up to $4 million, according to The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The full deal for the #Bucs and RB Leonard Fournette: It’s a 1-year deal worth $3.25M with a chance to make $4M including incentives. It took a while, but it ended as it should — with Fournette back in TB.

Fournette was instrumental during the Buccaneers Super Bowl run, churning out 448 total yards and four touchdowns. He also saw his role as a pass-catcher increase, hauling in 18 grabs for 148 yards and a score.
As the Buccaneers continue to bring back a team that won the Super Bowl the only key contributor that remains unsigned is Antonio Brown. Could he be next?
