The Bucs have officially announced Kyle Trask’s jersey number: He will don Tampa Bay’s No. 2 in pewter and red. The team later announced the rest of the draft class’ numbers shortly after.

Trask wore No. 11 during his time with the Florida Gators, so it’s a change in that regard. However, it’s perfectly applicable for his Bucs career, considering he is very likely to be the Bucs No. 2 quarterback.
During the early part of his career, of course.
Trask joins Joe Tryon as the Bucs’ first two draft picks to officially have a selected jersey number. The rest of the draft picks have yet to choose theirs.
Don’t forget that the NFL changed it’s jersey rules not too long ago. Players -except offensive and defensive linemen- can pick almost any number they want. Tryon picked No. 9. Atlanta’s Kyle Pitts picked No. 8.
The following changes were made to the NFL’s jerseys rule:
Quarterback, punter, kicker: 1–19
Running back: 1–49, 80–89
Defensive back: 1–49
Linebacker: 1–59, 90–99
Offensive lineman: 50–79
Defensive lineman: 50–79, 90–99
It’s a different day in the NFL.
UPDATE
The Bucs released the remaining numbers for the 2021 draft class. The Bucs released them via their social media account not too long after announcing Trask’s jersey number.
Robert Hainsey will wear No. 70, Jaelon Darden will wear No. 1, KJ Britt will wear No. 52, Chris Wilcox will wear No. 23, and Grant Stuard will wear No. 48.
