The Buccaneers have announced the date in which former defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin will be inducted into the teams Ring of Honor.
Bucs have chosen the Week 2 home game against Falcons on Sept. 19 as the game where longtime defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin will be inducted into the team's Ring of Honor. He'll also speak with reporters July 14 about the upcoming honor.

Kiffin’s induction will take place at halftime of the Buccaneers week two game against the Atlanta Falcons. Prior to the game, the team will hold its Ring of Honor press conference to announce the plans for his induction on Wednesday, July 14.
Kiffin was the Buccaneers defensive coordinator for 12 years, 1996-2008. He built one of the greatest defenses the leagues has seen. Kiffin is hailed as the mastermind of the “Tampa 2” defense. He’s widely regarded as one of the best defensive coordinators to ever coach the game. His defensive concepts are widely used throughout both college and pro ranks and has influenced many of the great coaches in the football today.
