The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had a very busy Wednesday getting their roster and practice squad set for the season opener in just over a week.
Darwin Thompson will join the Buccaneers practice squad rather than returning to the Chiefs, a source tells The Star.

Darwin Thompson was a 6th round draft pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2019. Thompson averaged 3.5 yards per carry during his limited playing time.
Bucs are signing former Chiefs tight end Deon Yelder to their practice squad. He’s 26, has 10 catches over the last two seasons in Kansas City.
