Buccaneers Brady Elaborates on Sunday’s Loss

By this time every Buccaneers fan has watched and heard all about quarterback Tom Brady’s post-game press conference following the team’s loss to Washington. Some took issue with it, and some applauded him being upset. Monday night Brady elaborated more on this on the Mad Dog Radio Show on SiriusXM.

“Communication and concentration, energy, I mean all those things matter,” Brady went on to say. “We gotta improve those things. That’s the reality. I’m not going to get into a bunch of scheme things that we need to do differently. I mean, we gotta execute better, for sure. I gotta execute better”. Then Brady went on to say. “I gotta make the plays that are there to be made. I’m sure a lot of [teammates] after today’s meetings feel exactly how I feel.”

While Brady wasn’t ready to use the teams’ injuries as an excuse for the poor performance. He did point out that several teams are dealing with injuries.

Brady then pointed out the Buccaneers have a lot of work to do, but it really comes down to how the team is playing entering the playoffs.

“A lot of playing your best at the right time is evaluating how to play your best and who you’re playing, and how they’re playing their best,”

The Buccaneers sit at 6-3 and in first place in the NFC South. With the Carolina Panthers seemingly back on track with the signing of Cam Newton and of course the consistent thorn in their side that is the New Orleans Saints, the Buccaneers better get this figured out sooner than later.
