The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the New Orleans Saints Sunday night 9-0 on Sunday Night Football. Unfortunately that’s not all they lost.
#Bucs WR Chris Godwin, who suffered an MCL sprain, is expected to miss the rest of the regular season, source said. With three games left, Injured Reserve makes sense. Godwin should be able to return for the playoffs, which obviously is most important.

New information from Bruce Arians Monday press conference. As Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports, wide receiver Chris Godwin’s MCL injury is not a sprain but a tear, he is out for the season. Typically MCL tears are a nine month or so recovery, Godwin is a free agent after this season.
Chris Godwin has an ACL tear and is done for the season, Bruce Arians said.
