Buccaneers Rework Ndamukong Suh’s Deal

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reworked defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh’s contract to allow him to earn an additional $1 million if the team wins the Super Bowl this year. As first reported by ESPN, Suh needed to play at least 65% of the Buccaneers defensive snaps and have the Bucs defense improve from its 2020 ranking of 20th in touchdowns on returns and recoveries.

The Buccaneers posted two touchdowns on return and recoveries which tied them for 11th in the league. The problem is Suh only played 64.18% of the defensive snaps. With Suh being so close the team reworked the deal making him eligible for the postseason incentives. A class move by the Bucs organization no doubt.
