The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have arguably one of the largest most talented coaching staffs in the NFL. With that comes the inevitably that some of the staff will be hired by other teams that have recently hired new head coaches. Buccaneers inside linebacker coach Mike Caldwell apparently is one of said coaches.
The #Jaguars are working on a deal to hire #Buccaneers ILBs coach Mike Caldwell as their new defensive coordinator, sources say. A former teammate and fellow assistant coach with Doug Pederson with the #Eagles, Caldwell is a DC after 14 years as a defensive assistant.

Caldwell has done an exceptional job with the Bucs inside linebackers, the proof is in the pudding. Just push play on any Buccaneers game and you’ll see the likes of Devin White and Lavonte David playing dominant football.
As Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network points out, Caldwell going to the Jaguars is more of a reunion. Caldwell and newly hired Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson have a long history together.
