Three of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ recently signed free agents have chosen their jersey numbers for the 2022 NFL season.
Safety Keanu Neal will revert to the No. 22 he wore with the Atlanta Falcons. Wide Receiver Russell Gage will wear the No. 17 as the number (14) he wore in Atlanta is obviously not available. Gage did wear No. 83 briefly in Atlanta, thoughts are he didn’t chose that number out of respect for recently deceased former Buccaneer Vincent Jackson.
Last but not least, safety Logan Ryan will wear No. 26. He wore that while playing for the Patriots and Titans before switching to No. 23 for his two years in New York.
Bucs confirmed a few new jersey numbers on their online roster: WR Russell Gage is wearing 17, S Keanu Neal will wear 22, S Logan Ryan will wear 26 …
