The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed veteran tight end Kyle Rudolph to a one-year deal this week. Rudolph assuredly is filing the spot left by Rob Gronkowski’s retirement.
Thursday Rudolph tweeted out his appreciation to the Bucs organization and apparently revealed what jersey number he’ll be wearing.
Can't wait to get back to work! Year 12 is going to be one to remember and I can't thank everyone in the @Buccaneers organization enough for giving me this opportunity!! Shoutout to the Krewe, let's get it. #GoBucs 🎱👀

Rudolph appears set to wear the No. 8 jersey for the Buccaneers. He wore No. 82 in Minnesota and No. 80 in New York previously.
In the upcoming season, Rudolph should be a great addition for Tom Brady and the tight end corp. Throughout his career, Rudolph has accumulated 479 catches for 4,745 yards and 49 touchdowns, majority of which occurred while he was playing with the Vikings.
