Buccaneers’ Brady Will Not Play vs. Miami

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are deep into week two of their 2022 training camp. With the first preseason game coming up on the 13th of August the players will finally get to play against an opposing team. One player, a rather important one won’t be playing against Miami on the 13th.

As reported by Greg Auman of The Athletic, head coach Todd Bowles informed the media that quarterback Tom Brady will not play in the preseason opener. This shouldn’t alarm anyone about Brady’s health, it’s most likely cautionary.

The good news from this is second year quarterback Kyle Trask should see some much needed playing time. With the reports that this may be Brady’s last year in Tampa, getting Trask as many reps as possible is crucial.
