Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Kyle Trask is in a reportedly heated battle for the starting job. Wide receiver Russell Gage recently returned to practice after dealing with a leg injury. Let’s check-in and see how that’s going.

Yes, that was Buccaneers’ in pads playing football, yes we’re that close to preseason football. More importantly, that was Kyle Trask dropping a back-shoulder “Dime” to receiver Russell Gage. Trask has been much better in recent practices per multiple reports. Regardless of who wins the quarterback competition, seeing and hearing Trask perform like this is encouraging. And if Gage is back and performing to the level that the Bucs think he can than this is going to be a deadly receiver’s room.
