Tampa Bay Buccaneers first-round pick Calijah Kancey has missed the majority of the team’s offseason programs with a calf strain. Fortunately, Kancey appears set to play in the team’s season opener this Sunday after returning to practice Thursday.

As reported by Bucs GameDay JC Allen, Kancey returned to full pads practice Thursday. This is a huge step towards the rookie defensive lineman being ready for the season opener.
