The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have revealed their uniform combination ahead of this week’s matchup with the Tennessee Titans.
And of course the Pewter Pirates will not be wearing their iconic and fan favorite red and pewter combination. Yes, it’s as frustrating for us as we’re sure it is for you.
The question is why is the team seemingly going out of their way NOT to wear this combo? Let me guess, “it’s a heat thing, those red jerseys are hot”, right? This excuse may carry weight in September, but this is November. And if that is the excuse the team sticks with, why weren’t the red jerseys worn for prime time games? Also, doesn’t the defense wear red jerseys during EVERY practice? What ever the excuse is this time, at least they’re wearing pewter pants this week.
