Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield injured his ankle early in the team’s 27-20 loss at Indianapolis. On Monday Mayfield had an MRI to determine the severity of the injury
“He’s pretty sore,” Bowles said. “The MRI was negative. He has a sore ankle. We’ll see how he’s feeling during the week, but it came out negative so that’s a good thing.”

This is obviously good news for the Buccaneers as they look at facing division rival the Carolina Panthers this Sunday.
