Baker Mayfield is poised to be an unrestricted free agent. The team hired Liam Coen from the Rams to be the Buccaneers offensive cordinator. Both Coen and Mayfield have a history together, so was that the Pewter Pirates tipping their hand? Were they letting everyone know that re-signing Baker Mayfield is just a formality.
Dan would like to think that Baker as a Buccaneer is certain. But if not which direction will the Buccaneers go.? Baker Mayfield also said that if he’s coming back he wants Mike Evans back. That’s where things get complicated.
Later Dan talks about former Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians who is now a senior advisor for the Buccaneers. Who does he have his eyes on at the quarterback position in the draft?
