Jon Gruden says, “What a steal he was. He might have been the story of the year last year. A 33-year-old guy coming in there like that.” He also happens to be one of Gruden’s favorite players.

Brent Grimes, who is 34 years old now, is entering his final year in his two-year contract with the Buccaneers and seems to be playing strongest he’s ever played.

Brent Grimes impresses at practice by breaking up a deep pass intended for Desean Jackson and closing it out with an interception off Winston, intended for Mike Evans.

Dirk Koetter said Brent Grimes is good every day, but that break up on the deep pass was fantastic. He also said that Desean Jackson had him beat, but Winston not used to having a guy that can run like that didn’t throw it far enough, allowing Brent Grimes to make a super human effort and knock it away.
