That would be a huge confidence builder for this team. And with these wins coming on the road, the 2-1 record would be that more special. But to accomplish this, the Buccaneers will have to man handle the pressure from a talented defensive front that plays out of a 3-4 scheme and unfortunately we have seen how the 3-4 worked against us in the preseason. But I will not fear. I am pretty sure they have since worked on the blocking scheme and will be able to handle one of the most sufficient 3-4 defense we could face this season.
“The Bucs can improve to 2-1 in Week 3, which would give them their first winning record within a season since they were 6-5 before Week 13 in 2012.” “Right now, we understand everybody looks at us as the past Tampa Bay Buccaneers,” coach Lovie Smith said Thursday. “We’re in a position to do something about it. Guys realize that. It’s tough going on the road two weeks in a row and winning. We have an opportunity to do that.” -Andrew Astleford, ESPN.Com
