This is not kind of news that any Buccaneers fan wants to hear. Ali Marpet has been a rock, on a solid offensive line, and we hope that he is not out, for a long period of time. Hopefully, this ankle injury is minor and he will be ready for next week’s contest verse the Cowboys.

“Tampa Bay’s offensive line as a unit has been impressive this year. Coming into Sunday, the Bucs have allowed only 14 sacks on the year. The big guys up front have been able to keep rookie quarterback Jameis Winston clean. However, a loss like Marpet is going to heavily impact Tampa Bay’s running game as well as the interior pass blocking that has been a problem for the Bucs in the past.
