If you shook the magic 8 ball and asked the question, “Will Tampa select a defensive player with the ninth pick in the 2016 draft?” The answer would be, “Signs Point To Yes.”
According to Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times, “It’s not uncommon for a team to draft a player it never brought in for a visit.”
But if you look at the list of players Tampa brought in and have lined up for visits, it’s pretty safe to say that Tampa is likely going to select a defensive player with that 9th pick in the 2016 draft.
