Looks like linebacker Bruce Carter is hard at work searching for a new place to play. Carter was released by Tampa, following a season that donned him with the title of Free Agent Bust. He recently visited the New york Jets but that visit ended without a contract. He is reported to be visiting with Lions now, and the Lions could actually use him. Carter’s value is beginning to strengthen, as the we are entering into the 3rd phase of free agency. The 5th year linebacker was half through his four-year contract when he was released by Tampa Bay. His release freed up $4.25 million in cap space.
