Bruce Carter has found a new home.
Ex-Buccaneers middle linebacker has signed to the New York Jets for a one-year deal. Carter was cut by Tampa after a disappointing season with the Bucs. His performance had not lived up to any of the Buccaneers expectations. Having played only 314 snaps, he only managed 47 tackles and just two sacks. The veteran linebacker has been a disappointment for both the Cowboys and for the Buccaneers, but may have a chance to turn it all around with the Jets. The Jets have lost one of their linebackers to the Cleveland Browns, and Carter will provide much-needed depth in that position.
