New information has come to light on the Aqib Talib shooting incident that occurred near a Dallas nightclub, on June, 5th of this year. Per Dallas Police Department, the NFL cornerback told officers that he did not know who had shot him and a witness said that he had only heard one shot. The bullet that hit Talib entered through the right rear of his thigh and exited his right calf, indicating that possibly Talib had shot himself. Although no one has found Talib to be the shooter or had said that he had a gun during the incident, this is one possibility that is being considered by the Police. Also during the initial investigation, it was noted that one gram of marijuana was found, but no charges had been filed. The League is investigating this incident as well, and Talib is facing possible discipline for violating the League’s Personal Conduct Policy.
