Buccaneers safety Chris Conte had a solid practice, on Sunday. He picked off Jameis twice. One was a deep ball intended for Mike Evans. The other was a deflected pass that he caught in the back of the end zone, in which Conte showed great awareness by keeping his feet in bounds. Koetter said that he knows safety is not one of their deepest positions but Conte, McDougald, and Tandy have been playing great! The players like Mike Smith’s flexible defense, it’s being said that it is more complex than last year’s defense, and a lot of fun.
