Cameron Brate’s injury was pre-exisiting.

Cameron Brate, as we all know, was injured in the game against the Saints, on Christmas Eve. According to Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter, Brate had aggravated a pre-existing injury. Whether or not he play Sunday we will just have to wait how the week goes.

Cameron Brate does lead the league in touchdown receptions for tight ends, with eight. If Brate is to miss the last game of the season, at least Tampa still has Alan Cross, Brandon Myers, and Luke Stocker.

However, having Cameron Brate healthy for Sunday’s game against the Panthers certainly will help out tremendously in Tampa’s attempt at closing out the season with a win.
