A College and NFL great has unexpectedly passed away. Hall of Fame defensive tackle Cortez Kennedy passed away at the age of 48.
Kennedy was a star at the University of Miami and drafted by the Seahawks, 3rd overall in the 1990 NFL draft, played for 11 years (1990-2000) in the NFL. He was an 8-time Pro Bowler and inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2012.
The details of his passing are unknown at the moment, but Orlando police made the statement that there is nothing suspicious. He was found in his Orlando home on May 23rd. Our condolences go out to his family and friends during this sad time.
