D’Onta Foreman was taken into custody at 3.am on Sunday morning following an arrest for possession of Marijuana, 2 oz or less, and unlawful carry of a firearm. The Unversity of Texas P.D. stated that they were responding to a complaint that a strong smell of marijuana was coming from three different occupied vehicles, one being that of D’Onta Foreman.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found marijuana in all three of the vehicles and a firearm in the vehicle occupied by Foreman. Foreman is the registered owner of the firearm but was arrested for Unlawful Carrying of A Weapon and Possession of Marijuana and booked into the Travis County Jail, while the six other male suspects, not believed to be UT students or affiliated with UT, were cited for Marijuana Possession and released.
