The NFL is close to finalizing contract extension with Roger Goodell

The NFL and Roger Goodell are close to an agreement that would extend Goodell’s contract by five more years. The five-year contract extension would keep the league’s commissioner in place through the 2024 season, giving him a 19-year tenure.
