2018 Bucs Game By Game Prediction

0

Week 1: Bucs @ Saints – The Bucs hang tough in the Super Dome, and come out late with a win. (1-0)

Week 2: Bucs vs Eagles – After riding high from a divisional win on the road, the Bucs come back down to earth. They lose this one by 7. (1-1)

Week 3: Bucs vs Steelers – On their only prime time game, we will see if the Bucs are resilient and pull out a win or if they skid into a two game losing streak. I think they impress on MNF against an aging Big Ben and Co. They win this one late in the 4th. (2-1)

Week 4: Bucs @ Bears – Last season Tampa Bay beat Chicago pretty handily, and they do so again. Bucs win by 10 riding a two game winning streak into the bye. (3-1)

Week 5: BYE

Week 6: Bucs @ Falcons – Divisional match ups are always close. The Bucs will hang tough, but it won’t be enough if Julio Jones has his way with the secondary. Bucs lose by 6. (3-2)

Week 7: Bucs vs Browns – When the Browns are on your schedule it’s not hard to write it as an easy win. The Browns are much improved, though after a successful off season. It won’t be enough for them in the end as the Bucs will win at home by 12. (4-2)

Week 8: Bucs @ Bengals – Depending which Bengals team shows up, this Sunday will greatly impact the Bucs likelihood of winning. Even if the Bengals put their best foot forward, I like the Bucs in this one as they keep up momentum with a game winning field goal. (5-2)

Week 9: Bucs @ Panthers – Fun fact, three of the last four games against Carolina have been decided by three points or less and they have split that 4 game stretch. The Panthers, though will come out on top late. (5-3)

Week 10: Bucs vs Redskins – The Skins are a lot further off from a finished product than their off season moves might indicate. With that said, the Bucs take advantage and win handily against a lackluster defense. (6-3)

Week 11: Bucs @ Giants – Contrary to what their front office thinks, Eli’s best days are behind him and it will show in this game. The Giants will make the Bucs earn every point, but the Bucs will win close by 2. (7-3)

Week 12: Bucs vs 49ers – Is the Jimmy G, we saw win 5 straight late last season, the real deal or a fluke? I hope it’s a fluke, but he’s more than likely the real deal and hands the Bucs their 4th loss of the season. (7-4)

Week 13: Bucs vs Panthers – Another tough game against Carolina, but they will split the 2 game series with a Tampa Bay win at home by 3. (8-4)

Week 14: Bucs vs Saints – December football is now well underway and the Bucs find their groove as they give the Saints a season sweep, and win by 12. (9-4)

Week 15: Bucs @ Ravens – As Baltimore starts to fade in December the Bucs increase their win streak to 3, and win by 7. (10-4)

Week 16: Bucs @ Cowboys – Going into Arlington and winning is tough. Going into that stadium playing Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott is even tougher. Heartbreaking loss for the Bucs as they fall to the Cowboys. (10-5)

Week 17: Bucs vs Falcons – In what could prove to be a game with plenty of playoff implications, the Bucs will ultimately split the season series and win at home with a game winning field goal. (11-5)
