Vinny Curry Will Have A Huge Impact On New D-Line

This past off-season, the Philadelphia Eagles released veteran DE Vinny Curry. As soon as Bucs GM Jason Licht heard about this he made a move and signed Curry.

Curry arguably had his best season as a pro last year, even if his stats don’t show it. He managed to take down the opposing QBs 3 times last year, registering only 3 sacks, but that’s not the whole story.

Last season, Curry showed he can also be excellent as an interior rusher putting up 42 solo tackles. Yet even though he only recorded 3 sacks, he also recorded 47QB pressures and has ranked as PFFs 12th best edge rusher in the league.

Now that the Bucs have Jason Pierre Paul on one end and Vinny Curry on the other, with Gerald McCoy and Vita Vea in the middle, I expect Curry to put up his best season yet.
