Along with training camp and the pre-season unfortunately comes injuries. Sometimes season ending. Though Tampa Bay hasn’t had any injuries that have been too detrimental thus far they have had a few players sidelined for the short-term.

It has been reported that Vita Vea has shedded his boot, but it still isn’t clear about the timetable for his return.

ESPN’s Jenna Laine have an update earlier today on the following players:

“Injury updates: Bucs running back Charles Sims, who left Saturday’s second preseason game with a knee injury, was not practicing Monday, but was in a brace on the sideline and was walking on it. Carlton Davis, who missed the game with an ankle injury, did practice. Jordan Whitehead (shoulder) and M.J. Stewart (foot) both participated in practice, but had on black non-contact jerseys.”

Laine also reported that Vernon Hargreaves III was seen back peddling and jogging today, but wasn’t back at full speed just yet.

Despite a large number of injured players, the majority of them should be ready for week 1!
