The wait is over NFL football is officially back and in full effect! The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel north to battle with a division rival the New Orleans Saints. The Saints and the Bucs will have a few players out for this week 1 match up.
Who do you think the X-Factor will be in this battle? On offense the X-Factor will be Peyton Barber and the running game. If the Bucs are able to run the ball against the Saints, it will make passing the ball a lot easier on Fitzpatrick. Running the ball will keep the Bucs out of third and long and keeps the Saints pass rush at bay. The key to success when running the ball against the Saints is staying away from Cameron Jordan and not becoming predictable on offense.
The Defensive X-Factor will be Gerald McCoy and Jason Pierre-Paul. The duo are seasoned veterans and they need to own the line of scrimmage. The two should vibe off of each other and produce an uncomfortable pocket for Drew Brees. If these two can produce a consistent pass rush this game, it should make the DBs day a lot easier when covering these great New Orleans receivers.
