Mike Evans Breaks Franchise Record!

Mike Evans has broken former Buccaneers tight end Jimmy Giles’ franchise record for touchdown receptions.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Buccaneers were poised to rally back against the Pittsburgh Steelers. With 5 mins and 43 seconds remaining in the contest, Mike Evans pulled in a 24-yard toss from quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to score the last touchdown of the night.

That last touchdown capped a 9 play 92-yard drive and placed Mike Evans as the number one all-time franchise record holder for touchdown receptions

Despite the great effort on the part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team missed the mark, falling short in their rally attempt and lost the game 30-27.
