The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have running troubles and also believe that it may be time to give our second-round draft pick Ronald Jones II a chance.
Tampa is the 30th ranked team when it comes to rushing offense (218 yards on 73 attempts), and that’s not all that great. But so far Ronald Jones II hasn’t shown any signs that he is ready to start taking snaps.
But, something has to give.
When we have running backs by committee and only have 218 yards to show for it over three games, then we have a running issue in Tampa.
Thankfully, we have the top passing offense in the NFL keeping us close in football games, but in order to be successful, we will need to establish an efficient run game.
Maybe ROJO will get his stuff together and become the breakout guy we heard he could be during camp earlier this year. But for now, it seems he is simply not ready for the football field.
