Unacceptable to Bucs Nation

The end of another season is near, and the Bucs will play meaningless games for the rest of the season. What we saw on Sunday was not a surprise; it’s just the normal for Bucs Nation to put forth a so-so effort only to come up short. The season is officially over, and we are more than likely on the hunt again for a new Head Coach as well as a GM.

We know what will happen soon. Another coaching search will start, and the Glazers will interview some candidates, who more than likely will not work out. Why do I say that? Look at who they have hired since Malcolm got sick and the sons took full control. Raheem, Schiano, Lovie, and Dirk. Not one of these coaches is now a head coach at the NFL level since they have left One Bucs Place. The record doesn’t lie—55-103 since 2009.

The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over. This has to change for Bucs Nation. What is happening now is embarrassing for Bucs Nation and the City of Tampa. I just hope the Glazers can get a choice right or, if not, let someone with a football background choose the coach and run the football side of the franchise.

I agree with the fans not showing up, and because this is unacceptable, we spend our discretionary income on this product with no ROI. This team has not won a playoff game since 2002. Yes, that’s the Super Bowl. There will be kids who graduate from high school who haven’t seen the Bucs win a playoff Game.

It’s not all on the Glazers, but they are the one constant thing through this decade-plus of unacceptable product on the field. It’s time for a change, and the Glazers must say it starts with them.
