Overview:

Cody Ford is a redshirt junior for the Oklahoma Sooners, and was a 3 star recruit coming out of high school. Ford was named 3rd team All American, and he is projected as high mid-first round pick.

Pros:
– Massive size and strength.
– Mauler type blocker
– Great punch and leverage.

Cons:
– Footwork
– Broken fibula suffered during sophomore year
– Pad level suffers at times.

Ford is the type of “Road Grader” the Buccaneers need. His footwork is a concern, but I think his brute strength will make up for it. I don’t see him being a viable pick though for Tampa Bay at number 5 overall in the first round. But if he is on the board when we pick in the 2nd I think it’s a no-brainer. However, Ford falling out of the 1st round is highly unlikely.
