The Vinny Curry experiment is over in Tampa. The Buccaneers released Vinny Curry today, Curry was under contract through the 2020 NFL season. The move saves the team $8 million is cap space.

Curry played in 12 games during the 2018 NFL season, posting 21 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 5 tackles for loss and 7 Quarterback hits.
The move is most likely due to the emergence of Carl Nassib. Who posted 6.5 sacks and is still under his rookie contract.
