It is being reported by Greg Auman of the Athletic that the Bucs are bringing in Mitch Unrein for a physical. One of the things the Bucs hope to answer is if he can clear concussion protocol. Who missed all of last season.
Bucs brought DT Mitch Unrein in for a physical. Missed all of last season with concussion, still hasn’t been cleared. Team could keep him, but may be cutting him, which could mean an injury settlement. Due a $1 million bonus if he’s still on roster Sunday.

In the event he can’t clear protocol, an injury settlement would be in order per the report. Even still this would help the Bucs continue to clear cap space.
