The former Denver Bronco will sign a 1-year $4 million deal that has incentives to increase it a million more.
Shaq Barrett on leaving Broncos: "I knew it was coming but I didn't want it to come. I wanted to be in Denver. That's my home. That's my family's home. It just didn't work out football-wise.'' He got 1 year deal with TB where he will compete for starting OLB in 3-4. #9sports

According to Stroud, the Bucs could carve out important roles for Barrett and Noah Spence in 3-4 packages under DC Todd Bowles.
Greg Auman of the Athletic, says Tampa Bay could lose out on compensatory picks due to the salaries of Barrett and Perriman.
They’re not. Perriman and Barrett have higher salaries so they’re the ones offsetting the comp picks, not Pinion. Bucs see a greater value in necessary additions now. https://t.co/dXgUeFOf1N
