Report: Riley Bullough & Four Others Among Roster Cuts

0

It has been reported by Scott Smith of the Buccaneers that the bucs have made 5 roster cuts to make room for the incoming rookie draft picks and UDFA’s. Linebacker Riley Bullough headlined the players cut. Who played in nine games last season. Three of which were starts. Other cuts included K Phillip Andersen, DE Hunter Dimick, P Hayden Hunt, and DE Nick Thurman.

The financial impact of these moves is minimal. As according to Spotrac.com already had Anderson, Dimick, Hunt, and Thurman’s salary cuts already factored in. Bullough’s $645k salary will not count against the cap. It does give Tampa Bay some wiggle room, but will have to make deeper cuts in order to sign all their rookies.

Note: The cut of QB Joe Callahan was officially announced Monday.
