Buccaneers lose WR to Achilles injury.

Buccaneers’ wide receiver Bryant Mitchell has torn his left Achilles tendon. Mitchell was carted off the field Friday night during the Buccaneers game against the Steelers. Mitchell was off to good start with 5 catches for 32 yards.

The 6’2 198 lbs wide receiver out of Northwestern State went undrafted in 2015 before signing with the Edmonton Eskimos. Mitchell raked up 97 catches, 1418 yards and 6 TDs during his time in Edmonton. After being released by Edmonton, Mitchell had a short stint with the Arizona Cardinals before latching on with the Buccaneers back in May.
