Tampa Bay Buccaneers Schedule Preview: What Games To Look Forward To

0

The NFL releases the official 2020 schedule tomorrow night at 8 p.m. And the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to have some real primetime action. Let’s take a look at what games Buccaneers fans should look forward to the most.

@Raiders

Now that the Raiders moved from Oakland to Las Vegas, expect them to make waves. The Buccaneers are taking over Vegas for the first time ever, which will make for a fun football game. Two young teams, hungry to win, has all the writings of a historic NFL game.

But what makes this game a must watch is two things: One, the Buccaneers and Raiders have had a small rivalry since the 2003 Super Bowl. Two, John Gruden, the former Buccaneers head coach who helped lead Tampa Bay to a title in 2003. It will be interesting to see how Gruden reacts to his former team and their recent success.

The Saints

The New Orleans Saints have been one of the Buccaneers’ biggest rivals, and have always given the Buccaneers a hard time.

What will make this matchup fun is that both teams have a great offense, led by legendary quarterbacks. However, the Buccaneers defense outshines the Saints’ and will most likely be a major key to winning the game.

The Buccaneers haven’t beaten the Saints since September of 2018, so expect a bloodbath in both games.

The Chiefs

The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs are bringing their talents to Tampa Bay. This is an important game for the Buccaneers to win. Not only does it show they can beat any team; it shows the rest of the league that they are an improved team with a new attitude.

The best thing about this game is the matchups at tight end. Chiefs bring their incredibly talented Travis Kelce. While the Buccaneers bring on their newly acquired Rob Gronkowski. This alone makes the game pretty evenly matched. Along with the quarterbacks and defense, this game will be one for the books.

The Falcons

The only reason why I think this would be a great game is because Atlanta has a lot to prove. Since they blew their 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl a few years ago, the league stopped taking them seriously.

The Falcons have the talent to win, but the Buccaneers have their number. Expect these games to get a little heated. Both teams have a great offense, but the Buccaneers win on defensive side of the ball.

Overall

Thankfully for the Buccaneers, this year’s schedule is a little easier than 2019’s. They don’t have to worry about traveling overseas to play, and they play some teams twice, which helps. I think the Bucs to have great year and hopefully a playoff birth.
