This rookie class has been highly touted since they were drafted. And the Bucs hit on every area of need. Each rookie will help the team immensely in some way. The Buccaneers are in good hands with these rookies dictating their future.
Who Will Have The Most Impact?
If I had to choose which of the seven would have the biggest influence on the Bucs, I’d have to say Antoine Winfield Jr. Winfield Jr. is the modern day Ronde Barber and creates nightmares for the opposing offense.
To compare him to a player in today’s NFL, I’d have to say he’s most like Jonathan Abrams of the Las Vegas Raiders. Both players have an edge to their game and love to hit. Winfield Jr. is a ball hawk and can cover a good portion of the field.
Antonie Winfield Jr. is just what the Buccaneers need. He’s perfect for Todd Bowles’ system and will thrive under his guidance. The young defensive back is coming into his rookie season with high hopes, and I think he’ll live up to the expectations.
