CBS released a list of 23 head coaches who were hunting for their first Super Bowl win. Atop that list was none other than Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ head coach Bruce Arians.
Quote via John Breech of CBS Sports
“Arians has been a head coach for seven seasons and in each of those seasons, he’s come up empty in the Super Bowl department. So to fix that problem, he brought in a secret weapon for 2020: Tom Brady. If the Buccaneers are going to win their second Super Bowl in franchise history, this feels like the season where it could happen.”
It is certainly hard to disagree with Breech. The stars have aligned for the Buccaneers in 2020. A great coaching staff paired with the greatest quarterback of all time. Add a ridiculous arsenal of offensive weapons and a young, hungry defense, and you have yourself a contender.

Arians is no stranger to a Super Bowl-winning organization. As a wide receivers coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers and a few years later as the Steelers offensive coordinator, Arians helped in his respective department in ensuing those two seasons saw the grand prize. Fast forward to 2020 and Arians could be on the cusp of his very first Super Bowl as the head honcho.
Of course, like any team, it’s a team effort and the offensive and defense will need to play bigger than ever if they want to see their dream become a reality. If the Buccaneer defense can go stride for stride with what could be one of the league’s best offenses, then Tampa Bay’s odds to make the Super Bowl should be decent.
