The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traveled to Chicago to take on the Bears. This primetime matchup between two 3-1 teams looked good on paper, it wasn’t.

First Quarter

The Buccaneers would get the ball first, and as usual, would score on their opening drive. A bad drop by Tanner Hudson forces a field goal, but kicker Ryan Succop nails the 39 yarder.

On the Bears first possession, Nick Foles misses Allen Robinson for an easy third down, and the Buccaneers take over on their own 15 yard line.

On the Bears second drive of the game, Carlton Davis picks off Nick Foles. The Buccaneers take over on the 50 yard line with 3:27 left in the first quarter.

Inside the red zone, Ronald Jones II appeared to have bobbled and dropped a pass. But after further review, Jones secured the ball. The Buccaneers get the ball on the two yard line, and Tom Brady throws a dart to Mike Evans for six. Tampa Bay extends their lead to 10-0 with less than a minute remaining.

Second Quarter

After going for a 4th and one deep in Buccaneers territory, Brady draws a pass interference call to set up another Succop field goal.

Nick Foles and company travel down the field on their best drive of the night so far, and punch it in on a three yard rushing touchdown by David Montgomery.

Ke’Shawn Vaughn would get hit hard on third and 10, fumbling the ball in Buccaneers territory. Jimmy Graham hauls in a beautiful one handed grab to give the Bears a 14-13 lead 41 seconds remaining in the half.

Third Quarter

After the second half kickoff, the Bears go three and out, and Brady gets his chance to take the lead.

After a penalty ridden drive, the Buccaneers answer with a 46 yard field goal by Succop to take a 16-14 lead.

On their next possession, the offensive line gets completely abused by the Bears front seven. Add in a slew of penalties, the Buccaneers are forced to punt after starting with great field position.

Fourth Quarter

In yet another penalty ridden drive, the Bears settle for a 46 yard field goal by Cairo Santos. With under 11 minutes remaining the bears retake the lead 17-16.

A great screen to Rob Gronkowski puts Tampa Bay inside the 30. Succop will hit another short field goal to give the Buccaneers a 19-17 lead.

Tampa Bay forces a Bears punt, but the Buccaneers go three and out deep in their own territory. With the ball on the 50 yard line, Chicago only needs one first down to get into field goal range.

Vita Vea goes down on the drive with an apparent ankle injury and is carted off the field, a huge lose for the Buccaneers defensive line.

A huge pass to David Montgomery puts the Bears inside the 25. Tampa Bay gets the stop, but Cairo Santos hits the 38 yard field goal to give the Bears the lead.

On fourth and five, Tom Brady throws an incompletion, and the Buccaneers lose 20-19.
