The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing in their fourth NFC Championship game in franchise history. This time, the Green Bay Packers stand between them, and a home Super Bowl appearance. Here is a full recap of the game as the plays unfold…

Quarter One

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers will start with the football, and it doesn’t take long for a touchdown. Mike Evans scores on an easy snag from Brady to give the Buccaneers an early 7-0 lead.

We have a Shaq Barrett sighting! He takes down Rodgers on third and nine to force a Green Bay punt, downed at their own 27.

The next possession is not as rewarding…A drop by Tyler Johnson forces a third and long, and Kenny Clark brings down Brady. Bradley Pinion pins the Packers to the 10-yard line.

Score: 7-0 Bucs

Quarter Two

Aaron Rodgers doesn’t seem to be rattled after two early sacks. He finds Marquez Valdes-Scantling for a 50-yard touchdown to even the score 7-7.

It doesn’t take long for Tampa Bay to answer. Chris Godwin reals in a deep ball by Brady to set up a Fournette touchdown. The Buccaneers lead 14-7 with 12:24 left in the half.

The Packers found success in the run game, but are unable to convert in the red zone. Mason Crosby’s chip shot field goal is good, but Tampa Bay still leads 14-10 with 4:59 remaining.

On a fourth and three, Tom Brady finds Leonard Fournette for a conversion. With eight seconds left, Brady throws a bomb to Scotty Miller for six points and Tampa Bay leads 21-10 to enter halftime.

Score: 21-10 Bucs

Quarter Three

On third down out of the half, Jordan Whitehead launches into Aaron Jones to force a fumble, recovered by Devin White to the 10-yard line.

On the next play, Brady finds Cameron Brate for pay dirt, the Buccaneers now lead 28-10 with 13:54 left in the quarter.

Aaron Rodgers answers within minutes, finding Robert Tonyan for six. Green Bay pulls it to within 11, but are still down 28-17 with 9:28 left in the quarter.

Tom Brady is intercepted after trying to hit a deep shot to Mike Evans. The Packers will take over with 7:54, and a chance to pull within four.

Davante Adams scores on an easy slant in the red zone, but the two-point conversion is unsuccessful off the hands of Equanimeous Saint-Brown. Tampa Bay leads 28-23 at the end of the quarter.

Score: 28-23 Bucs

Quarter Four

Tom Brady throws a ball a bit too high for Mike Evans, and it goes off of his hands into the lap of Jaire Alexander. That’s interception number two for Brady, giving Rodgers the ball at their 19-yard line.

Has anyone turned around a position quite like Ryan Succop? His 47-yard field goal is good, giving the Buccaneers an eight-point lead, 31-23. Can the defense get one more stop?

The Buccaneers defense holds on third and goal, but Mason Crosby’s kick is good. The Buccaneers lead 31-26 with 2:05 remaining.

On third down, Tyler Johnson gets held, and the Buccaneers get a free first down with a defensive pass interference.

1:34 remaining….so close to victory formation.

Chris Godwin picks up the first down on a sweep, and the Buccaneers will ride home to the Super Bowl
