Representing the Buccaneers, I feel like I did well for the team in this two-round mock draft. Moving down out of the first round 10 spots while gaining an early third allows the Buccaneers the versatility to move around the board or draft another quality prospect.
I was then able to move down twice in the second, acquiring two picks for next year while still landing a prospect I considered in the first round in Landon Dickerson.
Seeing value on the board and armed with an extra third round pick, I decided to move up and secure an edge rusher. Which in hindsight was the right move, seeing as the other two of my three potential targets came off the board right after my selection. The cost to move up was one I was willing to pay. That’s because of the flexibility I had with the 74th pick in Round 3. After debating between Joseph Ossai and Joe Tryon, I went with the guy with solid tape and played in 2020 in Ossai.
